Scott Rudin and Neil LaBute option Blue Angel

Francine Proses satiric novel Blue Angel has been optioned by the production companies of writer Neil LaBute and out producer Scott Rudin, according to Variety. Though nothing is set yet, LaBute hopes to direct, with Rudin producing. The novel is set in a Vermont liberal arts college and offers a wry look at the PC-infused atmosphere of academia.
