Out on the Edge kicks off in Boston

Beginning Wednesday, September 5, at the Boston Center of Arts, Theater Offensive presents the 10th Annual Out on the Edge Festival of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Theater. Highlights include Alec Mapa's one-man I Remember Mapa, Marga Gomez's Higher Highs, Lower Lows, and Shequida's Opera for Dummies. The festival will run September 5-29, with nightly performances and free weekly workshops. Tickets for performances are $22 each ($17 for "repeat offenders"), and every Wednesday and Sunday are "pay what you can" nights.
