       Showtime
            announced Wednesday that out actor Alan Cumming will have a
            six-episode arc on the upcoming third season of the
            network's hit drama The L Word. Cumming will play a
            New York club fixture, drag queen, and party promoter who
            comes to Los Angeles to manage the Planet nightclub. Season
            3 is set to run in 2006, with A Home at the End of the
            World's Dallas Roberts joining the regular cast. Cumming
            was last seen on Showtime in the network's original musical
                Reefer Madness.
