BBC News reports that DC Comics has slapped a cease-and-desist order on a New York gallery displaying homoerotic paintings of Batman and Robin. The watercolors by Mark Chamberlain are currently hanging in the Kathleen Cullen Fine Arts gallery as well as on the Artnet Web site. The color paintings originally went up in February, with seven images later displayed on the Web. DC Comics was unavailable to comment.
