Stephen Gately to
tie the knot

Stephen Gately, openly gay singer from the now-defunct Irish boy band Boyzone, has announced that he plans to enter into a civil partnership. Newindpress.com reports that Gately, inspired by Elton John's recent nuptials, will have a ceremony with his partner, Andy Crowles, in his hometown of Dublin later this year. John introduced the two and will be a guest of honor at the event. Gately and Crowles had a ceremony in Las Vegas in 2003. (Advocate.com)
