The former lover
of Survivor's Richard Hatch says Hatch used his
name on tax and financial documents without his
consent. Ralph Magee of Philadelphia testified Tuesday in
Hatch's trial on tax evasion and fraud charges. He
says Hatch listed him as an officer on tax forms and
charity incorporation documents without his knowledge
and consent.
Hatch is accused
of failing to pay taxes on his $1 million prize from the
hit TV reality show and of using charitable donations for
himself. Hatch says he set up Horizon Bound as a
wilderness camp to help troubled youth. But the
charity never ran any trips, and prosecutors say Hatch used
more than $36,000 in donations for personal expenses.
