The Logo network announced Monday that there will be a second season of Noah's Arc. Created, written, and directed by Patrik-Ian Polk, the comedy-drama series revolves around the lives and loves of four African-American best friends in West Hollywood, Calif. "Noah's Arc is not only setting an important standard for distinctive cable television programming, but it is helping to cement Logo's role as the nation's leading source of original LGBT entertainment," said Logo senior vice president of original programming Eileen Opatut in a statement. "The audience response to Noah's Arc exceeded all our expectations. We are excited Noah's Arc's creators and stars will deliver another season to both their loyal fans as well as newcomers to the series." The show's second season is set to premiere in August.
