Playbill.com reports that the Celebration Theatre in West Hollywood, Calif., will present the world premiere of Play It Cool beginning June 9. The jazz musical is set in a fictional jazz club in 1950s Hollywood, when men weren't allowed to dance with each other and women weren't allowed to bartend. The show features a book by Larry Dean Harris and lyrics by Mark Winkler, with music by David Benoit, Dan Siegel, and Phil Swann. (The Advocate)
