MTV has announced that it will remake the 1975 classic Rocky Horror Picture Show, Variety reported Wednesday.
Although MTV will be using Jim Sharman's original screenplay, new songs may be added to the two-hour film.
Lou Adler, the executive producer of the original film, is partnering with Fox Television Studios to produce the remake, Variety reported.
"I'd like to see it shown a year from this coming Halloween, but that's up to MTV," Adler told Variety. (The Advocate)
