Self-described "queer artist" Michael Stipe has added his distinctive voice to the chorus of rockers decrying Indiana's discriminatory new Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
Late Tuesday the former R.E.M. front man, who came out 20 years ago, shared his feelings in a brief video uploaded to his private Tumblr page.
"Indiana and people of Indiana, I love you," Stipe says, looking into the camera. "Indiana Governor Mike Pence, no! Go fuck yourself."
