Bud Light recently premiered a new commercial in California and New York, featuring Amy Schumer and Seth Rogen toasting a same-sex wedding (see below). The innocuous ad has been mostly embraced by the public but, reliably, the antigay trolls came for it on Twitter, as New York magazine points out.
\u201cNo mo Bud Light. I'll never buy it again. Your beer was gay anyway- that explains your newly disclosed support for SSM- don't push it on me\u201d— Joe Manenti (@Joe Manenti) 1464906099

Budweiser, which is working to rebrand itself, is prepared for any backlash, according to New York: "This campaign is not for Bug Light's core drinkers though. It's for those snooty city folks with their $12 microbrews. It's for the three-fifths of Americans who do support gay marriage."
