The new Lincoln commercial featuring Matthew McConaughey facing down a bull is weird and has already been the butt of plenty of jokes on Twitter.
I like to believe Matthew McConaughey is driving to a Bed Bath and Beyond to buy a waffle iron in those Lincoln commercials.
-- Steve Amiri (@SteveAmiri) September 18, 2014Perhaps the best spoof so far of the head-scratching commercial came from Ellen DeGeneres, who had a perfect explanation for the strange tone of the commercial. It turns out that she and McConaughey just ate way too many pot brownies. Now it all makes sense. McConaughey just signed a multiyear deal with Lincoln to do a series of commercials. Let's hope they're all as ridiculous as the first one.
