 Yossi & Jagger the big winner at the Gay Film Awards

The 2004 Glitter Awards, honoring achievement in gay and lesbian films, were presented Friday, and Israeli import Yossi & Jagger led the pack, winning both Best Picture and Best Foreign Film. The Gay Film Awards, voted on by U.S. and international gay film festival programmers and film journalists, also honored the Brazilian Madame Sata (Foreign Film Festival's Award) and the Argentinean Suddenly (Best Lesbian Feature) as well as U.S. titles Girls Will Be Girls (Gay Press Award) and Die Mommie Die! (Indie Gay Film Award).
