"Viva Pedro," a retrospective celebrating the work of out Spanish film director Pedro Almodovar, will run for eight consecutive weeks at the Laemmle Sunset 5 in Los Angeles. The retrospective, which runs August 25 through October 13, will feature rereleases of Almodovar's earlier works, including All About My Mother, Talk to Her, Flower of My Secret, Live Flesh, Law of Desire, Matador, and Bad Education. The retrospective is a buildup to the release of Almodovar's 16th film, Volver, starring Penelope Cruz and premiering November 3.
