The International AIDS Vigil, a public memorial to those who have lost their lives to AIDS, will be held August 17 in Toronto. The event is organized International AIDS Vigil Committee, in cooperation with the 16th International AIDS Conference, which will be held in Toronto August 13 to August 18. It will include a symbolic candle-lighting ceremony and conclude with the illumination of thousands of glow sticks. Many of the AIDS conference speakers are expected to attend.
