The AIDS/LifeCycle fund-raising event is set for June 3-9, when volunteers and cyclists will ride 545 miles from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness about HIV/AIDS. The event is sponsored by the San Francisco AIDS Foundation and the L.A. Gay and Lesbian Center.
Each cyclist must raise a minimum of $2,500 and will be assigned to a supportive "cycle buddy" for help with training and fund-raising. For more information and to register for the event, visit www.aidslifecycle.org.
