Armenian Society Conference, May 12 in West Hollywood

The second annual Armenian LGBT conference will be held on Saturday, May 12, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Plummer Park in West Hollywood, Calif. The event is hosted by the Gay and Lesbian Armenian Society, and the theme for the conference is "Coming Out to the Armenian Community."

The conference will include a panel discussion with GALAS members and their families and the presentation of two papers. A networking mixer is scheduled for Friday, May 11. Saturday night after the conference there will be a black-tie fund-raising event to benefit the GALAS scholarship program and other outreach efforts.
