Q Cinema is hosting its 10th annual gay and lesbian film festival May 29 through June 7 in Fort Worth, Texas.

According to Q Cinema's website, the nonprofit group's "mission is to provide a voice for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender persons by presenting films, videos, and live programs that not only represent the diversity of the GLBT community but that educate, enlighten, and entertain us all."

More than a dozen films will be screened over the 10 days. Other scheduled events include an evening with actor, writer, and singer Leslie Jordan; a book-signing with Jordan; a Hedwig and the Angry Inch sing-along; a reading of The Full Monty; and a mixed-media drag pageant. The festival will then conclude with an awards ceremony hosted by comedian Paul Williams.
