An estimated 175,000 people took to the streets of West Hollywood on Sunday for the city's annual pride parade, according to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department.
That number represents an increase of about 25,000 people from last year.
The event's organizers estimate that up to 375,000 people were in attendance for the three-day celebration, which began Friday evening.
Robin Tyler and the Reverend Troy Perry, two plaintiffs in the lawsuit that led to last month's California supreme court ruling in favor of marriage equality, were honored at the parade.
There was a small group of religious protestors at the event, but authorities reported no major incidents. (The Advocate)
