Clark County, Nev., on Tuesday overturned a decade-old ordinance banning massages by people of the opposite gender.
Licensed massage therapists lobbied county commissioners for repeal on grounds that the ordinance lumped them in with prostitutes, which limited their business, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
The ban, however, did not stand within the city of Las Vegas, which is located in Clark County. That county is also one of the few in Nevada to outlaw prostitution.
