Baby for Jessica Simpson and Her Best Gay

Jessica Simpson and her gay best friend, hairdresser Ken Paves, both want children ... and they've discussed having one with each other.

Simpson, promoting her new VH1 reality show The Price of Beauty, appeared on The View on Monday morning and told Barbara Walters, "I can't wait to have kids."

Walters asked the single Simpson, "How are you going to accomplish this?"

Simpson responded, "If I don't have kids by the time I'm 40, my best friend, Ken Paves, and I are going to have children."

Paves was in the audience and said he's trying to encourage Simpson to have kids with him before he turns 40, which is in two years.
