Lt Dan Choi Speaks with Rachel Maddow

Lt. Dan Choi, who is fighting the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy, spoke with Rachel Maddow Thursday on the first anniversary of his coming out on her program.

Choi and Maddow talked about the changes to the enforcement of DADT announced Thursday by Defense secretary Robert Gates, his arrest last week for chaining himself to the White House fence to protest the military ban, and his status in the military, which remains in jeopardy as long as the policy exists.
