Betty White hosted this weekend's Saturday Night Live after a
viral campaign on
Facebook helped to land the 88-year-old comic legend the gig. One sketch, featuring female SNL cast members of past and present, was set in Cleveland in 1904, with a group of sisters in a tizzy over an upcoming dance. But one sister, Amy Poehler's Gingey, was clearly not donning a dress and going with a boy on her own free will.
"You can put that lesbian in any kind of a dress you want, but you know what you're going to end up with? A lesbian," White said, as a grandmother attending to her needlepoint in the corner.
