True Blood actress Anna Paquin said her newly developed thick skin has come in handy after she revealed in a public service announcement that she is bisexual.
"I understand why it's a big deal to some people, but to me, it's not. I've probably always known I was bisexual," she told Self magazine, according to CNN. "I'm really lucky; I grew up in an open-minded, supportive family, so my sexuality was never stigmatized or scary or out of bounds."
Of her fiance, Stephen Moyer, who is also her costar, she said they knew their relationship may encounter complications over her sexuality. But still, she said, "You can't choose who you fall in love with, as inconvenient as that may be."
