Mark Chambers, the founder of the national gay basketball association and the Lambda Basketball League, announced this year's Gay Games would be his last. He's won several medals at Gay Games since his first competition at the 1990 Games in Vancouver. Nonetheless, it's time to hang up his jersey, he told Outsports.
"I've been doing this so long that I feel like my body needs a rest, and I'm starting school at UCLA," he said.
