In addition to receiving a life sentence for murdering his servant, gay Saudi prince Saud Abdulaziz bin Nasser al Saud must also pay approximately $101,000 in prosecution costs.
Saud was not present at Monday's hearing regarding his expenses, according to the U.K. Press Association. He will have to serve at least 20 years behind bars before becoming eligible for parole.
The 34-year-old prince was convicted of killing Bandar Abdulaziz, a servant who was brutally assaulted "with a sexual element" in a London hotel in February. The two were believed to have been lovers.
