There's life after The L Word -- Ilene Chaiken, the creator of the fictional series and its reality spin-off, is developing a scripted hour-long show for CBS about a lesbian doctor.
Chaiken's show is called Rhodes to Recovery, and it centers around a gay female trauma surgeon and her colleague, a straight male neurosurgeon. One of the doctors begins dating the other's ex-wife, complicating the surgeons' relationship.
