It Gets Better started as a video campaign with a website and some merchandise. Now it's a song.

Broadway composer Andrew Lippa enlisted the musical theater students at Texas State University, where he is a composer in residence, to sing his latest piece. A music video of their recording is making the rounds on YouTube.

Lippa has earned a Grammy nomination, plus he wrote music and lyrics for The Wild Party, which won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical. All that plus he has a Tony nomination for writing music and lyrics for The Addams Family. So that should give some reason to listen.

The It Gets Better Project continues to grow, with Major League Baseball teams now producing videos. American Airlines released its video today, joining many other big companies.
