Married With a Kiss and Inside One

The creators of the Pop Up Chapels to be erected in New York's Central Park this weekend announced designs for two sleek structures that will be assembled in hours, used for a series of weddings, and then disassembled.

As they make their vows, couples who may have waited years to get legally married will stand underneath a rainbow array of ribbon or within the center of a kiss. Two New York firms -- Z-A Studio and ICRAVE -- created custom designs for that exact moment.

The Pop Up Chapel provides everything, including the officiant, photographer, champagne, and cupcakes. Much is being donated by supporters of marriage equality because the event is expected to draw attention to the genuine love between same-sex couples. And the concept is so popular that all of the 24 time slots are already filled.
