Fallout: Jane Lynch Cut, Darren Criss Tackled

Cast members of Glee 3D, the big screen-version of the recent concert tour of the Fox musical hit, learned that Jane Lynch isn't in the film, revealed that Darren Criss was tackled trying to hug Amber Riley, and Heather Morris has a crush on Dianna Agron, according to Movieline.

The stars of Glee 3D answered questions during a junket for their film, which opens Friday, and were surprised to learn that although Lynch's Sue Sylvester character appears in the trailer, she has been cut from the film. Cocreator Ryan Murphy has since stated that Lynch will appear in the DVD release.

Criss, who plays heartthrob Blaine, recalled being mistaken for a fan by security guards when he tried to steal a hug from costar Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes, after one of her songs in concert. "I didn't miss a single Amber Riley performance the entire tour. I even tried to hug her once [after she finished, but] I had put on a hoodie and the security guys were like ninjas," Criss said. "It was my fault. I went to go hug her backstage, just did a beeline for her, and I just got tackled."

Dianna Agron, who plays Quinn, seems to have the most ardent admirers among her fellow cast members, Heather Morris and Kevin McHale specifically. "Someone asked me who would be Brittany's next hookup," said Morris, who plays ditzy cheerleader Brittany. "And I said I wanted Dianna for sure." McHale added that he's been saying he'd like his character, Artie, to hook up with her Agron as well.
