Is Host Steve Jones Bisexual or Just Kidding?

Steve Jones, the 34-year-old Welshman and host of the upcoming American version of The X Factor, says he enjoys the company of both men and women in the September issue of Details.

"Yeah, I've always done okay with the ladies," he replies, when the interviewer points out that Jones has been romantically linked to Pamela Anderson, Rose McGowan, and Hayden Panettiere. "God, that sounds awful. I just love the company of women. And men, too. I enjoy the company of both sexes. Otherwise, you're missing out on half the population. Don't be so restrictive, you know? Men and women, I'm happy ... "

Adds the interviewer, "To spend time with?"

"Thanks for finishing that off, so it's not open to interpretation."

The former Versace model, who appeared shirtless on the cover of Attitude in 2008, told the U.K. gay magazine that he was jealous of gay men and their seemingly active sex lives. "You lucky bastards," he said. "I would give anything to have that kind of lifestyle -- but the girls won't have it."
