Ricky Martin, Elena Roger, and Michael Cerveris assembled in New York to pose for production photographs for next year's Broadway revival of the musical Evita.
The role of Che will mark Martin's first time on the New York stage since playing Marius in Les Miserables in 1996. Roger will star as Eva Peron, alongside Cerveris as husband Juan. The revival of Evita is scheduled to open sometime in the spring of 2012 at New York's Marquis Theatre. Olivier Award-winner Michael Grandage and Tony Award-winner Rob Ashford will direct and choreograph, respectively, the first new Broadway production of the seven-time Tony Award-winning musical since it debuted on Broadway more than 30 years ago.
