Mitt Romney got glitter-bombed during a campaign stop Wednesday in Minnesota and then tried his political skills as a spin artist.

"This is confetti!" Romney says in video of the protest posted by ThinkProgress. A few handfuls of glitter shower down onto him as he walks up to the stage with his wife. Former Minnesota governor and presidential candidate Tim Pawlenty is introducing him to the crowd.

"We just won Florida!" Romney proclaims, as if the "confetti" were part of the celebration. "We're just going to win the White House next! Let me tell you: President Obama, he is not going to be seeing a lot of confetti."

Of course, glitter-bombing has nothing to do with celebrating Romney's big win in the Florida primary. It's a protest of his antigay policy positions. He was campaigning in a state that is considering a ban on same-sex marriage at the ballot box in November, and Romney supports a ban on same-sex marriage being added to the U.S. Constitution.

While in Florida, Romney revealed his 2010 tax returns, which showed thousands in contributions to antigay organizations that fought for Proposition 8, support "reparative therapy," and oppose equal protection for transgender people.

Romney apparently got glittered again after the speech with CNN cameras watching. See all of clips below, thanks to ThinkProgress.
