Lambert Takes in The View

Singer Adam Lambert announced on Twitter Friday evening that he would appear on ABC's The View next Thursday, December 10. Soon after the tweet, ABC confirmed the news with a press release--adding that Lambert's performance and interview would be taped.

The announcement came just one day after ABC decided to cancel Lambert's December 17 performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. And that followed ABC's Good Morning America canceling a Lambert concert in response to the singer's controversial performance on the American Music Awards, where he simulated oral sex a male dancer, kissed a male band mate, and flipped his middle finger at the camera.

Lambert will also appear on Barbara Walters' Most Fascinating People special on Wednesday, December 9.
