The Folsom Street Festival is more than just hot guys in harnesses. Although there is certainly nothing wrong with that. The Folsom Street Festival is a state of mind. It's a safe place to be your deeply freaky self, however that manifests, without worrying about judgement (we like it as out there as possible), without being body-shamed (all body types welcome), and without worrying about pesky items of clothing (nudity is permitted within the festival area.)

That being said we are very grateful that Miguel Angel Reyes takes enough photos of the festival each year that we can have at least two big-ass slideshows of unique images.

Billed as the "world's biggest leather event," the registered nonprofit Folsom Street Fair charges no admission (you can make donations here) and provides an open and judgement-free environment for thousands of kinky people to get their freak on and connect with like-minded folks.
