Three bears who share a home in Los Angeles find the dead body of a party guest in their bathtub and attempt to solve the murder. That's not a post-Folsom Street Fair headline, but the premise of Where the Bears Are, a comedy-mystery Web series that will premiere August 1 on WhereTheBearsAre.tv.
Created by veteran comic actors Rick Copp, Joe Dietl, and Ben Zook, the series is described as a cross between The Golden Girls and Murder, She Wrote and will feature cameos from a variety of LGBT faves such as Jackie Beat, Margaret Cho, Bruce Daniels, and Tuc Watkins.
