Sexual fluidity is rampant in the animal kingdom, as evidenced by a study of hundreds of species of birds, reports Time magazine. Geoff MacFarlane, a researcher from Australia's University of Newcastle, has discovered the gender of avian that spends less time raising baby birds is also more likely to indulge homosexual desires. In bird species where males slept around and females raised hatchlings, males were more likely to engage in same-sex behavior. In bird species where both sexes looked after the newborn, females were more likely to be attracted to other females.
