The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston presents "Art Loves: Louise Bourgeois" on Thursday, April 5, at 6:30 p.m.

Director Jill Medvedow discusses the exhibit Bourgeois in Boston, which will run from March 28 through March 2, 2008, at the museum. The exhibit looks at Bourgeois's most powerful work over the past 60 years. Bourgeois, an abstract expressionist sculptor, is known for her varied styles and powerful themes in prints, drawings, and sculptures. Her work uses memories and dreams to explore sexuality, beauty, anxiety, and desire.
