The Creative Arts Emmy Awards were held last weekend. Among the winners was the queen of drag, RuPaul, who took home the long-overdue award for best "Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program" for RuPaul's Drag Race.
Gay fans on Twitter immediately offered their "condragulations," as seen below. The entire ceremony can be viewed on FXX on September 17, so there is plenty of time before all the parties to assemble your own fabulous evening wear and wigs in celebration.
From now on, when September 11 is mentioned, the first thing that will come to my mind is RuPaul winning an Emmy.

I hope RuPaul holds on to his Emmy tight because the producers of "Lip Sync Battle" may steal that from him too.
