Zadan and Meron to produce Kidman and Lopez movie

Variety reports that out entertainment moguls Craig Zadan and Neil Meron (It's All Relative, The Reagans) will be producing American Darlings, a World War II-era drama with music that will star Nicole Kidman and Jennifer Lopez as swing band performers. Kidman, who will executive-produce, brought in Zadan and Meron in admiration of their work as producers of the Oscar-winning Chicago. Next step for the project is hiring a writer; Kidman and Lopez are both expected to sing in the film.
