Showtime Networks announced Wednesday that it has given the green light to a pilot based on the popular public radio series This American Life. Legendary lesbian producer Christine Vachon (Far From Heaven, Boys Don't Cry) of Killer Films will produce the pilot alongside TAL creator and host Ira Glass. The show will reflect the first-person storytelling aspect of the long-running radio show. No word yet regarding when the pilot will go into production.
