Gay producing duo
Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato have moved from a porn
classic to a porn giant, reports Variety. On the heels of creating the theatrical
documentary Inside Deep Throat, Bailey and Barbato have now sold their 13-hour
investigation on mega-porn company Vivid
Entertainment to the Playboy TV network, where it will
air as a weekly series. The documentary, Vivid Valley, will premiere its first hour on Playboy TV on
Saturday, October 1. The program will then continue
Saturdays at 9:30 p.m. eastern, available to the
network's monthly subscribers and by
pay-per-view to nonsubscribers.
Vivid Valley centers on company founder Steven
Hirsch, who turned porn actors into porn stars by signing
them to exclusive contracts. Hirsch signed arguably
the most famous porn star ever, Jenna Jameson, who is
featured throughout the documentary. Bailey and
Barbato's World of Wonder company also produced TransGeneration, the Sundance Channel's exploration of
transgender college students, as well as Bravo's
Showbiz Moms and Dads and AMC's Movies
That Shook the World.
