The Sundance Film Festival has announced the noncompetitive titles for the 2006 event, and several films of gay and lesbian interest were included. The Premieres section will feature the world premiere of Patrick Stettner's The Night Listener, an adaptation of the Armistead Maupin novel written by Maupin and his ex-partner, Terry Anderson, starring Robin Williams, Toni Collette, and Bobby Cannavale. The Spectrum films include Shari Cookson's All Aboard! Rosie's Family Cruise, about the maiden launch of Rosie and Kelli O'Donnell's queer family-friendly seafaring holidays, and Freida Lee Mock's Wrestling With Angels: Playwright Tony Kushner, a portrait of the openly gay Pulitzer-winning playwright.
