Felicity Huffman,
nominated this year in both the film and TV categories
at the Golden Globes for, respectively, Transamerica
and Desperate Housewives, tells The
Hollywood Reporter she's a bit overwhelmed by
the acclaim. "I'd say it's a dream come true," says
the actress, "but I never dared to dream this big." She was
particularly gratified to be recognized for her role as a
pre-op MTF in the indie film Transamerica.
"It's really a nomination for the movie, and for
tolerance. Its message is that families come in different
shapes and sizes." Also, she added, "I can't believe more
than 10 people and my mother have seen this film."
