The cash-strapped
Washington, D.C.-based AIDS service provider
Whitman-Walker Clinic has renewed its search for a permanent
executive director after postponing the search this
spring during financial problems that saw the agency
close a suburban Maryland satellite clinic, reduce
programming, and lay off staff, The Washington
Post reports. The last executive director stepped down
nearly a year ago; the agency has been helmed by an interim
director since then. The search will begin
immediately, clinic officials say. The organization
also is recruiting applicants for its positions for open
development director and chief financial officer.
