Cuts in federal Ryan White grants to the Dallas metro area will result in program reductions or even eliminations at several city AIDS organizations that provide supportive services, the Dallas Morning News reports. Bryan's House, an agency providing services to children affected by HIV, recently lost $70,000 in federal funding and is expected to scale back its programs. The AIDS Interfaith Network lost $260,000 in grants for adult day care, and has already cut program hours. AIDS Services of Dallas lost $25,000 in funding. The Dallas Legal Hospice saw its federal grant cut by $44,600, and agency officials expect to eventually lose all federal funding. (The Advocate)
