It's been a great year for pop star Carly Rae Jepsen.

The 30-year-old Canadian singer and LGBT ally released Emotion, one of the year's most critically acclaimed pop albums, in August, delighting fans with the single "Run Away With Me." (Jepsen spoke with The Advocate the same month.)

Now, 'tis the season for Jepsen to debut another single, her cover of "Last Christmas," the 1984 holiday hit by British pop group Wham! written, of course, by out singer-songwriter George Michael.

Jepsen performed the song last night on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
