How does Frankie Grande measure a year?

"In daylights, in sunsets," the gay performer sings in a new cover of "Seasons of Love," a song from the Broadway hit Rent.

Grande was joined by his sister, Ariana, in a passionate rendition of the musical number, which was created as part of #RentSingAlong, a campaign for Fox's upcoming live staging of Rent that encourages fans to record their own versions of the number. Ben Gettinger directed, wrote, and sang alongside the Grandes in their take.

"I am beyond honored to have worked on this incredible project with my best friends in the world including my wonderful sister," Grande stated in the YouTube video's caption.

"Thank you Ariana for vocal producing as well as adding your magical voice to this beautiful song. I am so happy that I got to sing with you on one of our favorite Broadway songs from one of our favorite Broadway shows, Rent!"

Rent, a Pulitzer- and Tony-winning play, follows seven artists -- several of them queer -- in the late 20th century in New York City's East Village.

Fox's upcoming Rent Live!, which will air January 27, stars Jordan Fisher, Brennin Hunt, Tinashe, Brandon Victor Dixon, Valentina, Vanessa Hudgens, Kiersey Clemons, and Mario. The Greatest Showman's Keala Settle will be the soloist on "Seasons of Love."
