Proteus and Transfixed premiere on DVD December 7

Two acclaimed gay releases from 2004 make their DVD debuts on Tuesday, December 7. Proteus (Strand Releasing Home Video), from directors John Greyson and Jack Lewis, tells a true story about a forbidden interracial love affair in 18th-century South Africa. Francis Girod's thriller Transfixed (Picture This! Home Video) tracks a killer--who may or may not be a hunky hustler--in the world of transgender prostitutes in Brussels.
