Jason and deMarco host Equality Ride fund-raiser, April 6 in L.A.

Gay Christian pop duo Jason and deMarco will host a fund-raiser on Thursday, April 6, at the Lounge in the Standard West Hollywood, 8300 Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood, Calif. The event will benefit Equality U, a documentary currently being made about Equality Ride, a Soulforce-sponsored bus tour of religious colleges that bar queer enrollees. The event begins at 9 p.m. and will include music by DJ Scotty K and Frank Abraham. (The Advocate)
